Our preceding operations (SISEC), were part of the founding members in the CSSHL. SISEC started operations over 15 years ago, and were the only Hockey Academy sanctioned by Hockey Canada, to carry a full roster of International players. It wasn’t until the 2015 season that we were allowed to open our roster to domestic players.
Starting in early September and continuing until the end of June, our players will train and skate daily. As we monitor our players well being, we will dryland train 3-4 times per week. Between time in the gym, we also add in yoga, dynamic stretching, and plyometrics.
Between the play in the CSSHL, playoffs, and tournaments, our U18 Prep and U17 Prep boys teams, will play about 40 games.
We start our days around 7:30am and will be at Winsport until 4:30pm.
The sports schedule is subject to change, based on welfare of kids (fatigue), travel timing, coach’s discretion and educational requirements.
We have researched league comparisons, to find IHA is one of the most cost-effective programs in the CSSHL.
